Saxon Mount Project

Saxon Mount School, in partnership with Table Tennis Rother have successfully bid for a Small England Small Grant to set up table tennis sessions for their pupils. The grant has paid for 4 indoor tables, 2 outdoor tables, bats, balls and 36 weeks of coaching. In addition the school have purchased an additional 2 outdoor tables more info

Lane Brothers Impress

The annual Rye Championships held at Rye Tennis Club recently was set alight by some outstanding performances from Junior Players Dan & Sean Lane from Rye College Spiinners. The Rye College stars took on the adults in this senior tournament including many former winners. Sean gave an impressive performance against 4 time winner Dave Goddard in the early stages to gain a ¼ final place before narrowly loosing to the defending champion in a spirited semi-final. more info

Skills Award Scheme

Launched

Table Tennis Rother has luanched its very own Table Tennis Skills Award Scheme aimed at children and Young People. The scheme will run in both School and Community Clubs teaching and testing the skills of table tennis at various levels. Certificates will be awarded to those that complete each level. more info

Battle Banded Event

The first Battle Junior Banded Event, the third of a series of events for the 2015/16 season, produced some very exciting encounters. Amongst these was a surprise result of Zachary Allen (St Leonards Academy) who upset 3 times Band A winner Dan Lane (Rye College Spinners) . more info
