The Rother Junior Development Table Tennis League has been restructure for 2025 after an absence to meet the growing need of our young developing players. For this year we are implimenting a new format as well as the conditions for entry into this year. A new venue has been identified and we aim to commence after Easter with a short summer league before commencing a Winter league in October. The Summer League is aimed to our young players who meet the following conditions. 1. A currently working on our Silver Award Level to ensure they have the basic skills to play a game. The must not have passed the award before they commence playing in the league. 2. Do not currently attend a session outside of their school club. Some excepts may apply such as a player who meets all the requirements but does not play at school because the outside club is their only opportunity. 3. Is currently in years 4 to 7 . Other ages may be considered subject to experience and spaces available. All players will get a free membership and registration to become full members of Table Tennis Rother making this event as cheap as possible to particate in. The only fee payable will be £3 per match towards the venue costs. This would be payable on the day. The event will take place at Pebsham Community Centre in Bexhill on a Friday between 6.15pm amd 7.30pm. Matches will be singles play only with teams of two. Players can make their own teams or we can find them one if they dont have a partner. Our Head Coach will discuss this with the children at their seasons and deal with any questions. This does aim to be a light-hearted event and very enjoyable with the emphasis of taking part being the most important part along with just trying thier best on the day.
