Sandown Primary School Link Club

TABLE TENNIS ROTHER
Table Tennis the Way You Like It
The after school link club at Sandown Primary is our latest addition to our after school link clubs. The club is the result of a number of promotional sessions based around the TTKIDz Schools format. The club is aimed at years 3-6 and provides a mixture of fun, learning and light- hearted competition. Table Tennis Rother has now increased the number of Tables to 4 giving players more table time on average. This after school club is open to all pupils in Years 3-6. No previous experience is needed to attend and we provide all the equipment you need. Just make sure you wear your PE Kit to sessions. We particularly welcome children who have never considered playing a sport before as the sport of Table Tennis can be an ideal acitivity for the non or less sporty child. Whilst the club provides a mixture of fun, coaching and competition there are opportunities to take part in Awards in Skills, Leadership and Officiating (Umpiring). As well as certificates to award progress children received a certificate each term they attend and are numbered accordingly. Every child is encouraged to try their best no matter what their ability level. We also welcome those with a disability including children who use a wheelchair. The session is led by an experienced Table Tennis England Coach who will be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
