Junior Fun Team Event

Our first Junior Fun Team Event is being held to introduce in a light hearted and less competitive way team play to our young developing players at Table Tennis Rother. Playaers from all our community and school sessions are eligible to enter and there is NO ENTRY FEE!!! There may be a small fee session fee towards the venue costs unless you already attend that venue then its included in your session fees. Teams will consist of just two players and we aim to make all teams of mixed expereince so has to give a sence of fairness and equal opportunities. This will depend on who enters but we will do our very best. Players may represent their community club or after school club. whatever they prefer. Matches will run over a few months during the summer terms with visiting players only needing to attend when they have a matches. After the match they can join in the other acitvities until the session ends. Match durations are around 35 to 40 mins with each players playing two matches consisting of 3 games. A point is award for each set won meaning every game counts. We have designed this even for newer players so give some additional experience . If succcessful we will develop this in future. If your child is wants to have a go and is nervious please encourage them . Their coach will be happy to talk to them. If your child hasnt a partner we will happily match them with someone but they are welcome to choose their own form their regular session. Matches will take place at our Pebsham venue in Bexhill on a Friday evening from 6.15pm and will end by 7.25 at the latest. This venue is central to all our regular activites.
