Table Tennis Rother Receives Award

Table Tennis Rother has received an Award from the Peoples Postcode Lottry, through its membership of SportED to help improve community safety by providing opportunities to play Table Tennis in areas of high crime rate. The idea is to helo children and young people into a more healthy lifestyle and worthwhile activity which will hopefully prevent them form adopting Anti Social behavoir leading the criminal activitiy. The fundimg will be used to provide sessions in the Bexhill Area of Rother focusing on Pebsham and the Sidley areas of the town. These areas have little or no affordable activities for those tagetted age groups. We are delighted to be woekiing alongside Cllr Gareth Delany from Rother Disctrict Council who holds the portfolio for Community Safety, Wellbeing, Equalities and Age Friendly Communities and Member Training Champion.
