MP Visits Pebsham Juniors

Bexhill & Battle MP, Dr Kieran Mullan visited our Junior Session at the Pebsham Community Hub recently to see our work with the young people in the area. Dr Mullan joined our young people in a number of activities including a serious of fun games aimed at improving skills bot on and off the Table Tennis Table. He was able to meet and talk with some of our parents and volunteers discoering the benefits of taking part for their children. Several of the young people are on the Austic Spectrum and they have benefited with an activity they can enjoy. During the session one child was presented with a certificate for having completed 150 sessions along with another young man who has just commenced his Table Tennis journey. The evening ended in a competitve style with Mr Mullan taking on local Councillor, Gareth Delany in a friendly Conservative v Labour match. On this occassion Labour pipped the Conservative by 4 points!
