Icklesham Primary to Launch Club

Table Tennis Rother, with funding from Active Sussex are launching a new after school club at Icklesham Primary School near Rye. The Club will launch in January 2024. Brand new tables will be delivered in December along with all the other equipment needed for pupils to enjoy the club. Pupils for years 3 to 6 will be offered a place which will be limited to 12 places. Icklesham Primary is the smallest school to come onboard with around just 100 pupils. Pupils in the smaller schools often have limited opportunities to enjoy a wide variety of clubs. Table Tennis is a sport that fits in nicely as it required a smaller amount of space than most indoor sports as well as being attractive to those non-sporty and semi-sporty children who often excel in Table Tennis.
