Hailsham Primary Academys Great Start

Hailsham Primary Academy’s new after school Table Tennis Club got off to a great start this term. Currently 11 enthusiastic children across years 3 to 6 are enjoying this new opportunity to develop an interest in the sport. The school currently has 3 new Butterfly Tables and we hope to increase this as the sport develops amongst the children. WIth the first session all about getting to know each other and about the sport they enjoyed some fun games both performing individually and as two teams. Some basic skills were introduced to get the children playing. Head Coach , Kevin Haffenden commented. ‘ Its great to beable to work with this new school to bring this new opportunitiy for the children to enjoy both a new club and sport as well. I have been delighted with the great start and look forward to seeing the children develop their interest and pleasure in taking part’. Initial comments received form parts seem to indicate that the children themselves have welcomed this opportunity and found their first session great fun.
