Success at PAWs
The after school table tennis launched in
September at Pevensey & Westham School
near Eastbourne has really taken off.
The club has a full house of pupils from
years 3 to 6 who are all making excellent
progress and are showing real promise for
the future.

Get Your School Active
Ever thought of introcuing an after school
club to your pupils. If so we could probably
help organise and run it for you. We are
looking at offering the sport to more Keys
Stage 2 pupils in the area. Table Tennis is
fun and can cater for children of all abilities.

Young Ambassadors
Lead The Way
Two more of our young poeple at Rye
College have completed more than 50
hours of volunteering as part of the Table
Tennis England Young Ambassadors
Award. They following in the Steps of
former student Sean Lane who also
completed the award prior to Covid.

Icklesham Primary to Join
Table Tennis Rother
Icklesham Primary, near Rye, are joining
forces with Table Tennis Rother to offer
pupils the opportunity to play table tennis
after school. We are delighted to work with
the school as the opportunities conntacting
to a Rye College project will open lots of
opportunities for their pupils.
Rye College Invest in New
Tables
Rye College have taken delivery of some
new tables as part of their Open Schools
Programme. The tables, pictured above,
arrived in time of the Table Tennis Fun day
held during the February half term. The
event was also part of the open school
programme and attracted 12 students who
enjoyed a ffree day of table tennis.

Pebsham Community Hub, in conjunction with
Table Tennis Rother, are providing children &
Young People in the area, aged 9 to 13, to come
along and try the sport with a range for fun
activities.
The event will take place at the Community Hub
on Saturday, 10th August from 1.30 to 3.00pm.
The event is FREE and will lead to the
establishment of a regular session at the venue
in the Autumn once works have been
completed.
Table Tennis Rother is expanding its schools
offering to include curriculum time sessions as
well as offering more extra-curricular activivities
within school enviroment.
We currently provide opportunities for schools
in Hastings, Rother & Wealdon with plans to
expand into Eastbourne.
We are currently looking for expressions of
interest from Schools in these areas. No
equipment is neccesary as we can provide
everything needed to ensure successful
sessions. Please contact us to discuss .
New Sidley Session
We have opened a new comminity session
in Sidley. Based at ChristChurch Methodist
Church in Springfield Road, the session is
open to all ages but its main focus is on
providing an additional activity for the
children and young people in the Sidley
area. Places will be limited at first but
spaces are currently filling up fast. To find
